Actually if the pirate steals your inventory you don't have to start from scratch - it is hidden in a pile in the maze.0

Exactly my experience!dosh37 said:wiseonesomeofthetime said:It is easier, once a customer, but yes, initial registration was a looooooonnnnngggg process 🤦♂️Over the years, I've been a Coventry BS customer six times with different accounts. When you close an account they discard all your details so you have to go through the entire process again. It's a bit like when the Pirate appears in Colossal Cave and steals all the items you have collected. You have to start from scratch.
I finally have access to my account after 17 days, numerous letters and three telephone calls.0 -

We haven't got crystal balls either.Gave me heart failure for a moment! I didn't write that I had 100K to invest (I would never be so gauche!) Then I realised you had mathematically worked out that when I wrote it would take me a week to move the funds...
. I was only being flippant, not specific about the week!Thank you, BTW, for the advice therein.

I have still got this account at 1.19%. How long do people think it will be before they reduce this? I keep expecting a letter or email. Is there a minimum time that a bank must keep it at the rate you initially took it out for?0

I snook in before they withdrew the .96% rate. Think that was early November? Anyway, they suggested it would be at least April before they review the rate. And like others, found this the most complicated process to open an account. If I'd have known, I wouldn't have bothered!!!fred246 said:I have still got this account at 1.19%. I know. I remember moaning on the phone to them that other banks aren't so difficult to establish online access.blue_max_3 said:
