I'm sure you could get a better tariff than that so why stay if there's no exit fees?
or conversely as there is no exit fees why move away? Stay until something better comes along.

I Joined RHE last month (gas 1.97p/kwh) it worked out far cheaper than any other fix and the cheapest variable was only a couple of quid cheaper. BGas have matched the tariff and given a slightly longer fix plus no exit fee (IIRC the RHE tariff had one) . So,for one I'm happy and the no exit fee means not locked in.

Yes, if you log in to your RHE account you'll see that the exit fee was £30.  So I've sold my soul to BG until the end of August 2021 unless a better deal comes along, which seems unlikely.  At present BG are £93 cheaper for me than anyone else.

I have today got BG prices.
Gas 6.678p KW, Electric 24.596 KW no exit fee or standing charge Extended till end July 2021. I would never have chosen BG.
I tried to sign with Utility Warehouse but could not they want to include Phone/ broadband and Gas/ Electricity together, I do not want to include Broadband so unable to get a quote, anybody know if you can get quote without Broadband with them ?

Unfortunately you seem a bit muddled
If those are the charges per kilowatt hour, then they are crazy unless it's an unoccupied property and you have next to zero usage.  If so, what happens when it freezes?

Why on earth would you want to join Utility Warehouse????

They have given me the same price but cut the fixed period from the end of October 2020 to the end of July 2020.
In my view, they have not kept to their promise that they would '..beat or match your existing Robin Hood Energy tariff' because of this

Really? So your fix has already ended then
Sorry, typo I mean 2021 and not 2020. Thanks for pointing this out.
  • Talldave,
I tried to get better rates from UtilityWarehouse .
I freeze in winter ,last xmas day I turned one radiator on in kitchen first time on very low and one low energy light bulb. Quick shower no bath’s.
My gas usage is 1695 KW per year
Electricity usage 2601 KW per year.
Last year TL cost £590.53 Ebico
I wear two overcoats all day from about November to April, only router on standby nothing else, one low energy bulb on when too dark, one room warmed to 16 decrees in winter (if too cold , try not to sit around ) ,yes I am cold, go to bed early 9 pm to keep warm.
Do a run in evening to keep warm.

I also joined RHE on summer saver gas tariff but haven’t had any contact yet from BG.
EXIT FEES       Are they removed permanently  or just till you accept the BG as your suppler?

BG says "No matter what you decide, you have the right to cancel at any time after we have taken over your supply and before the end of your fixed term and we will not charge you an exit fee.".

As previously stated, your usage is measured in kilowatt hours, not in kilowatts.
It seems you haven't done any comparisons using Citizens Advice and 'Switch with Which?'.
In my area the total cost would be £466.94 using Zog for gas (fixed) at £103.39 and Neon Reef for electricity (variable) at £363.55.
If you prefer fixed tariffs then the total cost would be £526.71 using Zog for gas at £103.39 and Symbio for electricity at £423.32, or £528.28 using Green network Energy for dual fuel.  You are choosing to pay far more than is necessary.
Your electricity usage seems high in comparison to your gas.  You need to make sure that you're not using expensive electricity for heating, so no use of immersion heaters, instananeous electric showers, fan heaters, electric fires, oil filled radiators etc.  Use gas instead at about a fifth of the cost.
BTW, if you need more advice it would be better to delete your posts here and start a separate thread rather than take this one off topic.
