I ordered one of these last week doing exactly what you did. I ordered on a Saturday and it arrived on the Tuesday. An excellent buy for £129.
I tried to order another one for a friend last night and the prices have gone up to £148.88 even using the discount code which now only discounts at 61p.
Oh dear
Sorry everyone if it turns out its not working now. 0 -
Right i've been looking for days but im still confused. What is the difference between these tom toms and tom tom go? I read it has the bluetooth fone thing on it but is there any other differences at all?
Is it worth going for the GO edition for an extra £100?
Thank you for any help guys, I want to get this sorted for Christmas0 -
Sorry droopsnout, it worked fine yesterday when it clearly said on the Halfords link there was a discount of £19odd
Feel awful now!! Typical, the one and only time I think I can help out on MSE and it doesn't work...!! 0 -
Oops! Can't keep up with the postings!
Did just post to say I had only a 61p discount, only to find that I'd been beaten to it whilst on the Halford's site. So I deleted my post only to find (again) that MrsF had replied to a deleted post ... Doh!!
Anyway, thought I'd add that MrsF's method DOES work fine for the TomTom ONE v3 Europe Traffic model!
Don't feel bad, MrsF!! It's a great post!Much of the social history of the Western world over the past three decades has involved replacing what worked with what sounded good. - Thomas Sowell, "Is Reality Optional?", 19930 -
Thanks Droopsnout however the Halfords link is now unfortunately showing it with a whole 61p discount (whooooooooo!) rather than the £19 it was showing yesterday.
However, can I just also say that these satnavs seem to fluctuate in price quite a lot, for instance, on Monday night, the TomTom One V3 Europe was £127 on Amazon.co.uk (and had also been this price a few weeks back - as you can probably tell I've been watching them for a while). I was going to order it yesterday from Amazon to find it had shot up to £148, so when I found the Halfords deal I was made up. What I'm trying to say if you really want the Europe one but don't need it right now, its probably worth waiting a bit to see if it comes back down again as the price does seem to fluctuate quite a bit. Other than that, the GB ones, as shown in the inital post are a great deal if you only need GB etc0 -
Hi all,
I never knew Sony did SatNav's but hubbie needed one urgently and I found that Argos have reduced the entry-level Sony SatNav to £99.99.
I bought it, took it out of the box, and used it immediately.
Are they all this simple to use?

Firstly please slate it if its not a good system.
Secondly I know there was a company called Evesham that went bump recently and does anyone know if this the same company who have started up again as I am a bit wary.0 -
great news I'm getting one0

The Tomtom ONE T(traffic) Europe is a pretty good buy for £168.99 using the halfords code in post '7' above or from Amazon.0

Someone posted a link to this satnav comparison site in another thread, worth mentioning again here because it tracks the best prices for sat navs in the UK daily and is invaluable for finding the best deals (was for me anyway
