Moving House and sky TV

I’m due to move house in the next couple of weeks, but will not be exchanging contracts until really close to completion date (1 week or less). Does anyone have any experience of doing this recently and could give me an idea how long it might take from signing up to actually getting sky installed? House will need to have dish installed.

If you don't have Sky already it's a moot point, as you can just move in and sign up with Sky when you're ready and they'll come and stick a dish up.
