This is most certainly not spam.  It is not intended for you, it is intended for newbies, and and has received hundreds of thanks.

Thanks for the reply, much appreciated.  This is sounding like it's in the "too difficult" box, might be easier just to pay the money and forget about it.  I'm not finding the forum that easy to navigate.  Mainly because it is unreadable on a PC!

Perfectly readable on mine (as well as on my iPad). Have you tried a different browser - here's a few possibilities:
    • Google Chrome.
    • Mozilla Firefox.
    • Microsoft Edge Chromium.
    • Opera.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I have tried it on 3 laptops using win10 , win8 and win7 , using Firefox , edge 2020 edition , opera and chrome , no problems with any OS or any browser when viewing this site , so a properly setup pc should have no problems !!

It also works fine on my android 8 Acer Iconia 10 tablet too , using opera

If everyone put tasks into the too difficult category , nothing would ever get done !!

Please answer the questions already asked. Was a windscreen ticket given? If this is the case then the normal advice is to wait for the NTK where an IPC scammer is involved. However, you don't want the registered keeper paying the charge and passing it on to you, so I suggest as already advised by Redx that you send the appropriate edna basher template appeal letter for hire/lease/company vehicles.
There are three of these edna basher templates but one is for fleet managers, so pick one of the other two that is most applicable, ensuring you give your name and address as the hirer/day to day keeper. You should then get a NTK in your name.

It is very rare for a parking scammer to comply with the requirements of the PoFA 2012 in order to hold a hirer/lessee liable for the charge.

What happened when you complained to the landowner? Have you complained to your MP yet.

Please now do your bit in an attempt to stop the excesses of these scammers by adding your comments to the two government draft proposals.

The Government is (this month only) consulting about a new statutory code of practice (CoP) and framework to rein in the rogue parking firms.  Read and comment on the draft CoP proposal and the enforcement framework consultation, and get everyone you know to do the same.

You will need to register to comment on the CoP and enter an occupation even if you are retired or a homemaker, but otherwise it is easy to navigate, and comment upon each section/subsection individually. You can save comments to edit later and or submit comments once you are happy with them.

You do not need to register to comment on the enforcement framework which can be found here. It has a link on page 5 to make comments.

At the very least, we say the parking charge level should be £50/£25 or higher level £70/£35, as per Council PCNs in E&W.

And we say the added fake 'debt recovery' costs are just double counting the cost of letters, and MUST GO because that is unfair and illegal.

Please be heard.  You can bet the hundreds of PPCs will be commenting.

I have never heard anyone say this forum is unreadable on a PC!  What on earth?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

The ticket was posted on my windscreen.  The lease company have said they will automatically pay the fine if it comes to them, then its up to my company to decide whether to charge me, so I guess I should also start the appeal.
Thanks for your help so far.
