You might want to redact your name in the witness statement (if it is your real name!)  Don't forget to add the latest statement of truth to the end.
  • COUNTRY = typo!

Leave the dates blank for the Judge to fill in, that's why you are giving him/her a WORD doc. Order to edit.  Not a PDF.

    Costs to be reserved.
Why not Claimant to pay Defendant's costs, to date assessed at £255?
Thank you for picking this up! Will edit.
I thought point 3 would override point 2 as I've not paid anything yet. Will amend to your statement. Thank you.

I can't seem to find the edit button on my posts... Am I going mad?!
Ah yes, thank you for the reminder.

On this point quickly, does the State of Truth only go on my defence? I.E. I wouldn't put it at the end of my witness statement?
Should I attach all 3 documents for my set-aside, or just first 2?
    1) Witness Statement
    2) Order
    3) Defence
  • A heads up  -  "DEFAULT (JUDGMENT)" is the correct spelling in this context but you have numerous other instances where the word incorrectly contains a middle "e".

If not aware CONTROL + F (Judgement) will find the errors.

You have this following unnumbered paras (after para 1.7):-

"Furtherance to points raised in 1.3 above."

Not sure what it relates to as 1.3 states:-

"1.3. The claim form was not served at my current address and thus I was not aware of the Default Judgement until 15th September 2020."

but further paras after "Furtherance...." relate to ANPR cameras

Just checking if this is correct:-

"1.7.4 Thus, any evidence gained on 3rd September 2019 was gained unlawfully."

You can see from the section about WS in the NEWBIES, how to word a statement of truth for a witness statement.

It is on the top right of your post and looks like a gear/cog wheel, click it and a sub-menu is Edit/Delete.  You should have enough history now to be able to edit your own posts.  Unless you are using a mobile to navigate the site.

Nothing on my posts at the moment that allow me to edit and I'm working on my laptop currently.

You don't yet see a cog above your posts on the right, in the blue header which has 'today' in it?
