The annual cost for M&S is £309 Symbio is £316
Ok I can see M&S is cheaper for that, now I just need it to be explained why the annual cost would be cheaper if the unit and standing charge is more?0 -
Not sure how vat comes into it as its on the site. Or am I being dim...0

You've probably omitted VAT somewhere. Do the sums yourself to check.More to the point, the CEC doesn't show all suppliers so you may well not be getting the best prices. Try Citizens Advice and 'Switch with Which?' and you'll probably find Neon Reef is at or near the top.0

The problem with other sites my address doesn't come up so I have to put in another postcode. When I do Symbio comes as the cheapest Then Green then Eon0

If you read the info it says you get a £50 bill credit with M&S, that's presumably why it's showing as cheapest despite rates being more expensive. Symbio are just cheap, without gimmicks, which makes them better for higher users where the impact of M&S's discount would be negligible.2

Think I'm going to try out Symbio.0 -
If you don't shop at M&S, the discount is useless. Good luck with your switch.1

Cheers. Definitely won't be going with M&S just for a voucher.1

Of benefit to some users is the Warm House Discount of £140 which M&S does but Symbio doesn't; M&S also doesn't have an exit fee.Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0
