It’s a pleasure to read such a positive post. You really have turned your life around. Well done 👏I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

What a pleasure to read that post. I’ve followed your journey, ups and downs. You sound content and happier. Long may it continueCarolbee2

@Sun_Addict thank you. Somehow always managed to do ok when I put my efforts into it.
@carolbee thank you. I am happier and more content, not to say I don't have goals beyond my plan for the next few years but it's tinsel really. I have come to realise I already have more than a whole lot of the population, lot to be grateful for and a lot to lose. Lot to work on both financial goals and otherwise. Always found birthday week a time of reflection but trying to put the techniques to use and reflect positively about it. This time last year I was using more than I admitted to on here or to anyone in person this year 165 days clean better for it financially and mentally. Better for my business and my family win win really.7 -
That is a great positive post and you do sound much more contented. You have really turned your life around from a year ago. @enthusiasticsaver thank you. Going to try my best to enjoy it half laugh at myself tbh had you said to me I'd be looking forward to a clean and sober trip to a RHS garden to see some lit up trees I've have said you were off your head but I can't wait and can't wait to see my little boy's face. Nice place booked to stay for the night too. Sounds !!!!!! ridiculous but it's possibly going to be the best birthday present my wife has ever given me.7

Your positive posts have made me smile this morning. You seem to be in a much better frame of mind of late.
Day 166 today. Another positive way to start the day1 -
Such a great and positive post. If counting the days is right for you go ahead. I am not sure which day is your birthday but Happy Birthday for then and have a wonderful weekend.

I can't tell you how many upticks I am giving your last two posts @alt80. So different from the troubled, chaotic thinking & self-abuse of last year's posts. Is it the northern RHS garden? Never seen it lit up, but that garden is one of our favourite walks. Something to see in all seasons - Tulip season is lovely there - & Betty's tearooms & shop for treats too. Have a great time.
