@alt80 I think it was about £10, but my OH has had it a couple of years now. I've dropped you a message with a couple of links so you know what I'm talking about.
With an open fire outside it wouldn't have to be kept clean, merely tap the ash out and reuse. That's the joy of outside, nothing has to be perfect but it is a lot of fun.

Alt Sure your wife doesn't want to call here on the way home?
York Designer Outlet | Up to 60% less | McArthurGlen
It's totally different to McArthur Glen on the A38If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.2 -
@MovingForwards thanks. My son will love it!
@Grumpelstiltskin haha the one on the A38 is much smaller than that York one by the looks of it? As for if we’ll be going the answer is no, don’t need anymore clothes rn.3 -
Yes The York outlet has over 100 shops all indoors, many more designer outlets, including some names I have never heard of.
( Not difficult ).If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.3 -
Hope you’re having a lovely weekend xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

Day 24 through. 80% to goal 1. 6 days until I can join the gym again - having that as my reward if I get there. Next goal is 90 days then 1 year. Just need to get through day 25 first. Plenty of work planned for tomorrow so should be a fairly easy win tbf.
Had an amazing weekend if a little gluttonous on the food fml I def need to wind that in now ha. Wife had me off my phone for the weekend too away from work/ other distractions. No chance to look at finances but I know my credit card has taken a complete battering on food and drinks mainly. It’s been absolutely amazing tbh some real quality time with my family tbh I don’t regret spending. One of the best breaks I’ve ever had and not even any shopping haha @Grumpelstiltskin. Tbf might have a trip up there when I need to practically all the clothes I wear regularly are RL/ Reiss/ Boss/ Hilfiger so could save a fortune having a drive up there who knows? However rn I don’t need any clothes for myself but thanks for suggestion anyway.
Actually met with my mate and his wife who’ve got the MG this evening. One last gluttonous high calorie meal I’m 100% back on the chicken salads tomorrow no excuses. Was good to see them and they made a fuss of my son must be 9 months since they’ve seen him. I’ve agreed to look after the car for the rest of summer and store it over the winter too - see how things go.12 -

That's a nice way to start the week. Such a positive post.
Glad you had a great weekend. You deserve it with all of the hard work you have put in this last month. Well done. 30 days will be here before you know it, then 45, then 60 then 90.
I'm glad you met up with your real mate as well and agreed to look after the car. That will give you something to do over the summer with your son.3 -
Congratulations on the day 24. Amazing achievement and you are sounding so much more relaxed.
I love how you don't feel guilty about spending on family time. You shouldn't as this is where the memories that count are.
Have a lovely week Alt. Taking one day at a time is best for now. You can think about day 90 when you get there (which you absolutely will!).September 2017 Debt = £25330

Glad you had a good weekend, surprising how quick the money goes when you start eating out again.
Good you finally saw sense and met up with MG, the decision to look after the car is smart, you should make arrangements to meet up more often and even consider the odd outing, what makes this extra good is you can do it as a family as you all get on together good for the mind and body(eating properly).
Also just think when you go on you save money clothes shopping spree you will have a nice shiny new electric car that will save even more money, 170miles at 15mpg-20mpg don't come cheap
They need to fix their electric charging firstWe also have 4 electric car charging stations located in the Grey zone carpark near Polo Ralph Lauren.
(Our electric charging points are currently out of operation as we upgrade our charging stations.)
The back side to this is you don't do any local/on-line shops for stuff you needs(and even the odd want) you save them up till you can make the trip.
(We do ours in the US, outlet mall near family, hardly buy anything in the UK now, looking like a 2 year gap on that though but not worn anything either)
I stumbled on these guys that restoring/recover old classics converting them to electric, not cheap but you might be able to make you RR last even longer if they ban ICE engines.
