The curtain hems are finished - just need to be pressed and the corners mitred

Not much else done this afternoon.  Rosie is ready for her walk, but I'll bring in the washing first as it looks a bit stormy on the other side of the vale.

Well done, Iona, on the hems, that was a mammoth task.

Huge drumroll.....The kitchen has been cleaned! I couldn’t have done it without the list, so thank you, Valli. Even cleaned the blinds and the windows, as well as the floor. For an hour or so, it actually looked better, but now I am making a tomato sauce, so it won’t last long. Freezer Tetris is still outstanding though.

The weather is looking decidedly stormy here too - there is a strange level of light, but no rain is forecast.

ETA - don’t faint, but I also did HHpaperwork x 2. I think Wandering Willi must have been here for the day 😉

Huge drumroll for Fayolle and Wandering Willi.
I took Rosie for the longer walk through the big wood, but it was very humid and not as nice as our wander through the forest yesterday (and no ice cream at the end of it  )  
Easy tea  eaten - pasta and yesterday's SC stew.
I have given up on my list for today, apart from dealing with a couple of phonecalls and a text message.

Evening all,

The usual chaos at work today. I won't bore you with it but suffice to say it's a challenge. Easy dinner of egg, beans and toast for us all and the children are asleep. I plan on supping this cuppa and getting myself a very early night. Fruit purchased, letter posted, order collected from M&S, interesting job found which I may apply for to give me something to do tomorrow evening 😉....

WUDUPA.  Dehumidifier emptied. Photos edited for OH ready for adverts to go on selling sites.  

Mulling over how to tackle Ryan✈️ re the email that I have received tonight reminding me about my ‘vouchers’!!!! What vouchers, I requested a refund! 😱 Hopefully sleeping on it will give me inspiration! 😴

Morning all

back in the WAC for me, oh well, at least I got one good nights rest! Another early meeting this morning and deadlines for 2 tasks have been brought forward 🤬 nothing i can do about it, just need to reprioritise my work to get it done.

Dailies will be whizzed through before I start, wm is loaded and on the timer so that will be taking care of itself while I get ready.

Morning lovelies,

Today is a new day and I'm at home all day, yesterday I worked all day, it was 34°C and I had a mask on all day, result was I came home with a headache (because I didn't drink enough, you don't just sip whilst wearing a mask) and nothing else really got done.  OH loaded DW after dinner so kitchen looking OK this morning.

Slept reasonably last night so hoping today will be productive. 

Bed made, clothes picked up

Morning all,

Exhausted this morning - been up since 5am due to some really nasty dreams, so am sleepy and unsettled.

Today's list is therefore a bit minimalist:

• Email the AA to cancel as I can't get through to them on the phone.
• Take out the recycling (Didn't get to it yesterday)
• Something easy for dinner - one of the "freezer surprise" meals I keep for when I'm feeling lazy.
• Put the clean washing away in drawers

On my "nice to do" list would be to list more stuff on the freesharing group and go through my sock drawer to get rid of old ones.  50/50 chance I'll achieve that!

Morning all

much better nights sleep apart from the dream where I forgot to take my car for the MOT, phoned up to reschedule and had an argument about the cost and whether I could afford it, with the bloke on the phone.  Was quite cross until I remembered it was all a dream. 
Yesterday was quite busy with minimal flying.
