Good morning
Thanks for the company in the WAC *sigh*
DW emptied, towels in wm, sink plunged again, lunch made from leftovers. Just about enough time to sort out the clean washing and the airing cupboard before I have to leave.
Have a lovely day all8 -
Morning all
I am a bit anxious about everything too asb especially with DS getting the virus, it brings it all home when someone in the family gets it. Site meeting today which could go on for a while, could be tricky too because we have had problems with the contractor, definitely a big girl pants sort of day.
Exercise done (gentle class this morning as feeling the effects of my dodgy thyroid) so shower next, breakfast and prep for my meeting. Joint of pork to go in sc, flying will happen later.
Have a good Monday all, will catch up later x9 -
I'm in today, but forecast to be over 30C this afternoon so will be slow I guess.
Need to Lesson plan, meal plan, pay for new tap in rental house, chase up insurance payment for DD1 teeth and of course progress in the house and/or garden.
So far, up, showered dressed, just finished breakfast
Bed made, clothes picked up
Bag unpacked from weekend
Surfaces cleared in the bathroom (stuff had been there since end of August, oops!)
My dining room and my bathroom are as they should be in terms of tidiness but need cleaning. They have both been recently been re done and therefore completely emptied so only what should be in there went back and I battle with myself to keep them like that.
Off to sort out a load of washing, going to reboot computer as it needs to do updates so that will take ages and stop me from getting distracted on the internet!
See you later

Morning xx
Eventually went back to sleep and I've woken up late, groggy and inclined to be mardy - home alone so it's allowed lol.
Made my bed, sloshed bleach down the loo, changed towels in bathroom; WM is now swishing towels and tea towels, and I've supped my first brew.
Round 1 =
get dressed
feed the birds
put out the recycling
That'll do for starters
Love to all

Dining room has been wiped down, floor vacuumed
Kitchen vacuumed
Vacuum ran out of battery so now recharging but I have cleaned filter and put the dry one in (I have 2 so they have time to dry)
WM on
Recycling out
Next task is clean up some cat pee, have a drink (I am not drinking enough during the day) and sort something out for lunch as OH will be home in an hour or so.

Good morning campers - Hi-de-hi!
Another member of the WAC reporting in late - having been awake for about 2 hours in the middle of the night, I went back to sleep and didn't wake up until nearly 9.00, so in the end I had a reasonable amount of sleep.
We have glorious sunshine today so DH has decreed that, having not gone there last Friday, today we shall have lunch at the forest cafe. That means lugging two garden chairs with us, but I shall have a shady walk with Rosie and she will be happy with her dog sausage.
I have achieved the following:
- flung open windows everywhere
- breakfasted, showered and dressed
- helped DH to shower
- cleared my desk
- took down the pinned-up net in the study
- stripped 3 beds
- cleaned the utility sink and worktop thoroughly, defluffed TD filter
- WMx2 plus one hand washed net hung on the line, another load in the machine and 3 more in the queue - they probably won't all get done today
- started a goulash in the SC for meals later this week (or to freeze)
- loaded DW, WUDUPA other bits, wiped kitchen worktops and hob.
A bit off piste, but it's what I needed to do.
Tonight it's chicken risotto for tea, nom-nom, then I have a Zoom meeting for which I ought to have read a book - I've only managed a couple of chapters so far. If I don't fall asleep when we get home, I'll try to read a bit more before tea.
Now I must pay the decorator's bill and check his quote for doing the HSL in January, then try to hem at least a metre of the new curtains.
(((Hugs))) spoons and sticks all round, as needed xx7 -

Level 1
Open some windows for some fresh air
Wash up, dry up and put away (or remove all pots to DW)
Level 2
Sort fridge and wipe seals; weave stuff that needs using up into your meal plan; update shopping list as appropriate
Wash and wipe fridge shelves and baskets.
EXTRAS
Meal plan for the week.
Do you need to update your freezer inventory?
My extras
Empty washing basket and get it all out on the line.
Clear the spare bed - it's for snoozing, not storing.
I ended up taking a few things off the list, as I think I'd set my sights too high. Delighted to have cleaned the fridge though (how sad!) as it's not sparkled like this in long enough. Someone on the Grocery Challenge thread recommended an app for inventory, so I've downloaded that and added the freezer contents to it. I'm bad for getting to the shops and forgetting what's in the house already, so hopefully that'll stop my habit of buying mince/sausages "just in case".6 -
Moomin, please could you share the inventory app with us? It sounds very useful.
Had a lovely afternoon in the forest. Had an excellent light lunch, sitting under the trees, then I took Rosie for a walk while DH sat and read. It was mostly shady and pleasantly cool and I felt I could have walked further - but the extended route is almost twice our usual, and that was a bit too much when I'm out of practice! DH and I enjoyed the obligatory ice cream, and Rosie was well pleased with her sausage.
I haven't read any more of my book, but I've hung out another couple of loads of washing (and brought in the dry bedding), and I've hemmed nearly a metre of curtain.
The goulash is stewing nicely, and I'm about to make the risotto for tea.8
