I propose to fully charge my 10.8 kW of battery between 00:30 and 4:30 at 5p per kW so about 60p.  No messing with OctoLux (even though I bought a Pi to manage that).  For me I think it is easier.
Cannot find the "go Faster" tariff only "go" so guess its not available at the moment ?
Things will probably change in the summer as I manage without import from the grid for the majority of the time so agile maybe better for me then.

All the variations of Go Faster are available, you just have to email and ask smart@octopus.energy to switch you to the one you choose.
Have a look at the tariffs, past all the Business ones and they are all the variations of Go Faster are listed.
Below is what I posted on another topic:

How do I get on Go Faster? 02;30 to 06:30 would be more convenient than 00:30 to 04:30.
If you go to the Octopus website and check through all the tariffs, you will see all the variations of Go Faster listed. There are loads of them, but you have to scroll down past all the Business tariffs.
https://octopus.energy/tariffs/ (Screen shot below of just some of them)

However, unlike Go & Agile, there does not appear to be a webpage with a link to just select it.
But if you email Octopus (and I suggest using the smart@octopus.energy email address rather than the hello email) and ask to switch to the one you want, then they should be able to switch you to it. That's what we did.
Remember though, if you do switch to either Go, a variation of Go Faster or Agile and decide it is not for you, then you can't switch back to one of them again for at least 30 days. This was done to stop people causing issues switching every few days between the tariffs.
PS. The 3 hour versions are 4.5p/kWh, 4 hour versions are 5p/kWh and the 5 hour versions 5.5p/kWh for the off peak period chosen.

Meter installed so just waiting for it to be "connected" so I can change tariff, so do I switch to Go and charge my batteries or is it worth using Agile?
I will answer my own question... after checking looks like go is the better option and easier to manage........ Data below from https://octochargecalc.energy-stats.uk/

Just to make sure this is clear to everyone.  Your calculation holds true here if you are confident that you can do all the charging you need in the Go 'window' of cheap electricity AND also that you don't need to import any other electricity at any other time of day.  For me Agile looks better (if I ever get a SMART meter) but will need to make sure I've enough charge to get through the evening peak period.

You are correct ideally I would be on "go" from 00:30 until 4:30 then on agile for the rest of the day.
I may get the Pi out and run some tests but stated recently I think on here you can only change tariff once a month now so by the time I have played about It will be spring again,  I do still manage a few Kw most days even in winter although recently been very cloudy here!

100% agree with that and what Savvy and ET said.
We switched back to Go too as Agile prices have crept up lately and Go works out better for us at the moment.
Bare in mind too that you can only switch between Go and Agile once a month now so Agile is a bit of a lottery as your stuck on it for a month if the pricing goes pear-shaped.
This is a handy site to get an idea of what the pricing might look like over the next week to help decide whether or not to switch ..... https://energy.guylipman.com/forecasts?region=N

For me, definitely go is most cost effective.
Dinners and showers most often happen between 4pm and 7pm when agile is considerably more costly.
Batteries don't quite cover the shower, and the switching nature of induction hobs means there will always be some import even with batteries.

Can charge the batteries at 80% inverter load over the 4 hours to make it a bit easier on inverter and batteries.

Finding that even when we have say 8-10kwh of solar throughout November that so much is used by the morning usage and daytime usage that I'm exporting virtually nothing. (And most days are under 5kwh generation anyway)

Also have the car on a simple timer switch for the go time so that it gets 4 hours of 5p charging instead of 15p, so should be a healthy saving I hope.

Just got our bill through for November.
95% of our import was at 5p and our average unit price was 5.17p.
If we were still on Agile, the bill would have been more even if we only imported at cheapest rates possible.

Do you adjust the price to take account of the round trip losses through the battery?  How much are these?
    I think....

No, that's taken straight from the details on the bill.
