My Classic account(s) were automatically converted to "Spend and Saves" on the 9th of September.
(I'm not sure that this is the case for everyone)
All mine are now showing as "Spend and Saves" on the App and in On-line banking.
I was told that I can potentially earn cashback by making a minimum of 30 debit card transactions for each of the first six months (from the 1st to the last day of each of these months). There is apparently no minimum transaction payment.
In my case at least, the offer is live now.
So if I've made 30 db cd transactions between the 1st and last day of September, I will receive a £5 payment into my account by the second working day of October.
Sounds good - RSI here I come!3 -
To where are people making the debit card payments?
I use my Capitalone credit card, but I don't want t (over)abuse it

I wonder why they have limited the promotion to the first 6 months of an account opening. This will encourage people to open a new 'spend and save' account every 6 months

just now I had a call with TSB CS and they said irrespective of customer status whether they are new or current customer to TSB, if its available to apply for spend and save account then you can definitely apply but they dont have any details as of yet that what will happen after your first 6 months up and if you can have another S&S account. But for now I think every new customer should be able to apply and existing ones have automatically changed and eligible for £5 cashback for first 6 months. Only time will tell if we should be able to open another one after 6 months.I also asked if loading savings account by debit card is eligible for cashback and will be considered as DC transaction and I was rest assured that it will be considered as DC transaction, so there you go problem solved as for me this route works better than making multiple transactions in supermarket.0
