Thanks all! Super proud of him at the moment!
Just made another OP....£1,150 which is fairly chunky but a planned weekend away has been cancelled (supposed to go to Edinburgh for the Lions game but our tickets were cancelled when they reduced capacity for COVID :-( ) gutted but figured might as well put the money to good use somewhere else instead!
Been feeling rough for a few days, my vaccine completely knocked me for 6 which was unexpected as I rarely get sick!Current mortgage (1 Jun 2022): £289,501 - originally £351,999 got to love London sized mortgages!
OP Goal 2022 = 3.75% in OPs: £6,975 / £13,200
Emergency Fund Target: 3 months saved ✅

Been a manic few weeks, lifes been busy but fun. Been some un-MSE stuff (weekend away and a bit meal out) that went a bit over budget, but can rein it in elsewhere.
But I've had some MSE wins as well, shopped around for house insurance and saved £45 compared to the best offer from current supplier and £35 cheaper than last year = win. Plus didn't do a food shop this week and just been working through the freezer meats and veg, only picked up some fresh salad leaves so that will keep this month's food bill down!
Hope everyone is keep well and has lovely plans for the sunshine! I'm getting the paddling pool, Pimms and BBQ ready for Sunday!

One of my poor cats has been very unwell, thought it was just the heat but poor boy has an infection. Vet has given him some shots and antibiotics, now just got to persuade him to take them. Have a follow up later in the week and he will be getting lots of love and cuddles.
Thankfully we have a fairly decent pot built up so should be enough to cover any bills. No insurance as we cancelled it ages ago when they refused to pay out for a different issue with my other cat, but we out aside money every month instead of what we were paying the insurers. Main thing is, I just want him to get better 😍Current mortgage (1 Jun 2022): £289,501 - originally £351,999 got to love London sized mortgages!

poor kitty hope he gets better soon - we self insured, or rather we didn't pay for insurance and didn't put anything aside, but that's what EF (by which I used to mean CC) are for. Both our ladies (sisters) passed within a year of each other at a good old age, having never needed anything other than an occasional check up from the neck up (and down) and the toll fee for the rainbow bridge.I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine1
