I wrote this poster a Stanmer Park 'special' POPLA appeal, which was stayed while POPLA was resting, and now OPS have said they are not contesting it.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

But now they have been shipped out of that part of Stanmer Park, and the Council has proper P&D machines. Have to say the signage (Council) was woeful still when I went there to meet a Brighton friend for a (distanced) dog walk the other week but the pay machines are 'in your face'. Very fiddly though and the sun shone on the screen...but at least with Council enforcement you know that you don't have the useless five minutes flat to make the machine work.
Unfortunately, in their infinite wisdom the Council has allowed OPS to issue parking charges in the top part of the park, called Stanmer Village, and residents are up in arms about that. And of course the housing contract for the whole of BHCC residential sites is still with OPS., so that template 'not relevant land' POPLA appeal can still be dusted off and adapted for those cases.PRIVATE 'PCN'? Hi All
Just a word to let everyone know that (despite teh fact that I was late to the party with my appeal, and had provided full details etc), I was still successful with my POLA appeal. My advice to all to stick to your guns and don't give up!!! Plus I wont be going back to Stanmer Park again!!! I am very grateful to everyone who has helped, this board has been amazing. Thanks for the support, especially to @Coupon-mad

Send a pm to @ParkingMad as she takes an interest and helps people with Stanmer Park cases.
