I’m in a bit of shock at the moment and this is my first post. I’ve just received a £100 fine for parking in a non designated area. The usual carpark was closed off
Stanmer Park is owned by BHCC and is not 'relevant land' but OPS are sending out POFA NTKs so wait for that and it helps kill it at POPLA.
I have a pre-written Stanmer Park POPLA template that's worked three times within two working days; OPS throw in the towel.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

No rush. I am local and beat OPS in court and at POPLA.
You will be waiting a month for the NTK to arrive, as long as the car is registered to your home address (not a lease/company car).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP., it can cause the scammer extra costs, and in some cases, cancellation.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up later this year,
Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these companies, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Is this the NTK of which you speak? Now, from what I can tell, it is the driver who is ‘liable’.@C@Coupon-mad, I don’t pay, right? Is this when I send a letter? I did make another visit to the park and took photos of the spot I parked in and the signs. Thanks for all advice so far.1 -
Ps. I feel terrible. There were 5 cars all with tickets ... wish I had gone over and told them to come here before even thinking about paying.1
