Morrisons fires gun on 'recession' price war: Cost of 400 products slashed by a QUARTER as stores fight to lure families hit by downturn
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/money/markets/article-8701421/Morrisons-fires-gun-recession-price-war.htmlA senior supermarket source said Britain's largest supermarkets – Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda and Morrisons – were desperate to take the lead after being blindsided by discounters Aldi and Lidl after the last major downturn more than a decade ago.
Don't they understand that far too many customers have been hurt by the Rogue traders, the parking cowboys.
The parking companies sold a pup about "abusers" of car park parks. Of course there are abusers but not enough to warrant a blitz on customers. Those so called abusers will probably purchase anyway
With online deliveries and Amazon coming on stream, it's like robbing Peter to pay Paul
If they want to take the lead, get rid of the parking cowboys and let customers decide how long they want to shop for. They are desperate for "footfall"

Obviously not. The MA of one of my flats spoke highly of CPM

The PPC network will be rubbing their hands with glee. More punters coming into stores, many blinded by a few bob off a pack of White Lightning and half a dozen Pot Noodles. Lambs to the slaughter. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

We now shop almost exclusively at Lidl and Aldi. Both have unrestricted parking. Our local ASDA/PE have ticketed my wife three times this year. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

Others are using Click and CollectMy friendly Waitrose delivery guys tell me that the local branch where they work have doubled the number of vans they have, recruited more drivers and have increased the number of slots available (and are aiming for more). A cursory Google search shows that Tesco and Asda are doing the same thing. Walking past Waitrose on Saturday morning the car park was half as full as normal
People have got used to the ease of home shopping (I can, thoroughly, recommend Mr Amazon for wine!) and this, coupled, with the ongoing concern around the pandemic means that the way many of us shop has probably changed for ever
Good news for you guys of course as less targets for the PPCs. This is going to make much more difference than a headline about price increases,3 -
