Oooh, strangely I got the email address from google! Perhaps I need to double check then before I send anything :-)Le_Kirk said:
Is it still Dave Lewis? Auntie Google says it is Ken Murphy.DrDonothing said:I've just begun an email to dave.lewis@uk.tesco.com to state my dissatisfaction, but thought I'd check on the status of the parking charge before continuing. Underneath the charge details it now says "This PCN/ECN is now closed. Thank you."
I presume this means that the Customer Service lady was correct in her statement to me and that she managed to get the charge cancelled.....unless someone knows different?1 -
Yes Ken Murphy is the new CEO. hope he has a better understanding than the last one about the importance of good customer service ?3

It's definitely not Dave Lewis , he announced his impending departure months ago
Until Tesco rethink their customer service priorities I for one won't be using them !! They aren't the only one either2 -
Even if a PCN has been cancelled, ex-Tesco customers should still complain to the CEO, giving the reasons why they are ex-customers. This debacle has cost people time and money and unwarranted stress to resolve. Tesco hired the scammers so Tesco need to understand that they are responsible for the actions of their sub-contractors as well as the reasons why shoppers are going elsewhere.
Other supermarkets are available.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

I agree - complain to Tesco anyway.
They need to know that APCOA are no better than Highview were and to stop using PPCs. Just end the damn contracts and put your customers first!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I assumed that in view of it clearly being a validation machine mistake, APCOA would pretty much cancel all tickets from the time frame that Tesco have identified as being questionable (01/10/20 to 05/11/20) but a week after appealing, I've still heard nothing & my appeal is still pending, on the APCOA portal?

The BPA CoP allows them 14 days to acknowledge your appeal and 35 days to deal with your appeal , even without covid they were unlikely to deal with it within a week , so your expectations are unreasonableMiddleAgedDad said:I assumed that in view of it clearly being a validation machine mistake, APCOA would pretty much cancel all tickets from the time frame that Tesco have identified as being questionable (01/10/20 to 05/11/20) but a week after appealing, I've still heard nothing & my appeal is still pending, on the APCOA portal?3 -

CEO (or rather his underling) and I are now pen palsbeamerguy said:At one time if you contacted the CEO of Tesco, the ticket would get cancelled.
Now, Tesco just hold customers in contempt, they are a sad company.
I do not know anyone who shops at Tesco, tell a lie, I know one and she only uses Tesco because her mum has a staff discount card. Apart from that, Tesco are a disgraceful company and unworthy of customer trust
The very small area in which I live has higher Covid infection rates than anywhere else in our county, some of the highest in the country. There is just one 'express' big-name supermarket here and until very recently it took a wonderfully relaxed, 'who cares?' approach to Coronavirus restrictions. Yep, it really stood out.
I get lacklustre replies or no replies to my emails but things have changed. Probably that's not due to me ... but whatever the context, just keep on at these people.4 -
Nope, my appeal still shows as pending, when I check the APCOA portal each day.spakkker said:Have you sorted this yet ? Daughter got pcn fri. , scrubbed 3 days later, last monday - must be a record .hope those lihks work
Really, really starting to bug me now.1
