Trip looks amazing, proper once in a lifetime experience. Keep enjoying life mate.
It's been really good so far. Found lots of really nice places.
  • We were expecting a quiet day today. We have found a quiet free aire in a little village in Luxembourg called Koerich.

Not much here other than a bar and a ruined castle so expected a chilled day.

Turns out they have some sort of rock music festival on in the castle tonight 🙈

The other half is excited about that.

  • Three countries again today. We started the day off in Luxembourg heading across Belgium and into France.

I had my first go at driving on the wrong side of the road today. We all survived 🤣🤣🤣

Tonight's stopover is the town of Sedan.

Will go and see if we can get in at the vets tomorrow for the dogs worming tablet. If we can we might stay here another night if not we will move on and try another vets.

We decided to move on yesterday to Charleville-Mezieres only a short drive down the road.

Unfortunately the official vet who needs to sign the paperwork wasn't in yesterday so we have an appointment today at 1pm. Probably means we will stay here another night tonight.

That is by no means a bad thing though. The town here is lovely.

It's market day today as well.

Charleville-Mezieres is another regular aire for us.  Lovely town.  So wish we could have got to France this year but it wasn't to be as DH is over 70 and needs his C1 licence renewed and DVLA have decided he has to do a stress test and he's having problems sorting out a date for it to be done at the hospital.  So hopefully we'll be back there next year.

Loving the photos.  Enjoy the rest of your holiday.

The dog has been to the vets and had his tablet and paperwork signing. He didn't even know he had been to the vets, he was spoiled rotten with French ham and cheese.

We managed a drink in the square in the sunshine which was nice. Walked some miles again today. Dog has taken himself off to bed🤣🤣🤣

Sure he will wake up again when he smells steak cooking in a little while.

It's been nice to have a day off travelling. Back on the road again tomorrow.

We usually holiday in our touring caravan taking our 13 year old dog with us, who acts like a 2 year old whilst we are away. Last month we went on our first cruise leaving our dog at home with family. We felt so guilty leaving him and if we could have we would have taken him with us. Love seeing the photos of your little one enjoying his holiday.xx

I've just spent ten minutes reading about the history of Charleville-Mezieres and the Place Ducale as its architecture captured my interest after seeing your photo.
