Another day at home for me and a day resting up.
I need to ring work and let them know I'm not coming in and make my way downstairs to the living room to plonk myself in front of the TV. That's it today!

I feel a lot more lively today. Still can't taste or smell anything and have a horrible cough but the aches have gone and chills and weakness seem to have subsided.
I'm off on annual leave today although work have said they will reimburse the day and let me take it as a sick day instead.
Today we have the boiler service man and the van hab check man here. I have wiped every surface with antibacterial wipes and sprays and will stay well out of their way!0 -
Late update today!
Van passed its hab check with flying colours yesterday. So good to go for another year.
I still have no smell or taste which is thoroughly miserable. I have no interest in food at all which is really not like me 🤣🤣🤣
On the plus side I lost 5lbs last week what with being ill and off food. Not sustainable in anyway shape or form mind!
Today we have been into town and taken the car for a mini valet. It was filthy and neither of us could be bothered to do it.
Not much else going on. Got a stew in the slow cooker to put in a Yorkshire pudding. Other half is having a few beers. I'm wrestling a whiskey and coke but not much point drinking it. It may as well be fizzy water 🙄0 -
You sound brighter so hopefully you’ve turned a corner. I had the Norovirus last year and lost 5lbs in less than a week, it was awful, the only thing I fancied was lemonade which I never normally drink 😩I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

It would be nice to just have a glimmer of hope that my taste or smell might return today 🙄
Not much going on today. Dog walking and a couple of little jobs to do on the van. We won't be out in it for a few weeks now so we are going to use the time to get a few little jobs done before the weather gets better and we are out more in it.
Got a drippy tap to fix at home this week as well. That's annoying now.0 -
£350 sent to the credit card this morning.
Back to work for me today. See what I missed.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores today. Breakfast was cereals, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is salmon, noodles and stir fried vegetables.
Tonight's jobs are:- walking the dog
