The dog is taking full advantage of a quiet day in the kitchen today 🤣🤣🤣

Not heard a peep out of him since we got home!

Back to work today. Another short week for me though. I have Friday off again.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores today. Breakfast was toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is lamb and mint casserole, Yorkshire pudding and greens.

    Tonight's jobs are:
    • walking the dog
    • weekly shop
We have both woken up this morning with the start of some sort of lurgy. Just seems to be one illness after another at the minute. I thought there was something off yesterday when I couldn't get my feet warm at home and out my thermal socks on. Not normally needed in our house!

Hoping for another quiet day at work today. I really don't feel great.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores today. Breakfast was cereals, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is venison curry with pilau rice and samosa.

    Tonight's jobs are:
    • walking the dog
    • cleaning the windows
Hoping I can sort my body temperature out today. I was cold for most of the day yesterday but then randomly woke up wet through with sweat last night. Had to have a midnight shower!!

Oh no not another lurgy! Hope you start to feel better soon.

I'm glad you had a good time in York and you've found another good stopover site to add to your list.

  • How sad to see the pictures of the flooding - although as I recall that bit of the river floods fairly regularly doesn't it? Glad you had a lovely weekend in spite of having to change plans on the campsite anyway.

Also another lurgy? Oh no! Not what you need is it - you are right about there seeming to be a lot of bugs about at the moment though.

Another cracker of a lurgy, although thankfully not as snotty as the last one. just yet anyway.

No great surprise really. Every bus, bar and pub we were in at the weekend there were loads of people coughing and spluttering!

Hopefully it will be gone by the weekend. We are supposed to be in Lincoln to buy me a watch for my birthday. Couldn't find one in York  :D

No work for me today I feel absolutely dreadful. I cant breathe, I ache from head to toe,  I can't regulate my body temperature at all and my chest is super tight.

No idea what it is but it isn't pleasant.

A day in bed for me today to try and shake it off.

If I'm no better tomorrow I will have to cancel the hab check for the van on Friday and the boiler service.

It is savings money shuffle day. Will check its all gone to the relevant accounts later if I feel better.

Right now I need to cconsider the simple task of heading to the en suite but it feels like hard work 🙄

Oh that sounds horrendous. Hope you feel better soon. Have you sneakily had a birthday this month? I remember you saying it’s in January. Happy belated birthday if so.
