It warmed up again yesterday after the rain so we had seafood alfresco again for dinner. We will miss the amazing seafood here.

Wasn't long after that the sun started setting so we took the dog for a walk before retiring into the van.

It is much fresher and cooler this morning. I have had to put trousers on for the first time in over a week 🤣🤣🤣

A visit to the beautiful town of Bayeux this morning.

Glad we had the foresight to get here early today. It isn't a huge aire and there are plenty of vans arriving now to find the place is full.

Did you go to see the Battle of Hastings tapestry whilst you were in Bayeaux? We tried to see it the day we arrived but there was a crowd of school children about to go in so decided to stay the night in the town centre carpark (don't think you can stay there now though) and go the following morning; glad we did as we were the first ones there and it was lovely being so peaceful although plenty started turning up shortly after.1

No. We had the dog so couldn't see it. Had a lovely walk around town and some lunch though.joedenise said:Did you go to see the Battle of Hastings tapestry whilst you were in Bayeaux? Don't think you can park motorhomes in the square now. We parked in one of the aires a 10 minute walk from the centre. Free during the day and €6 overnight.

That's a shame as it's well worth seeing. Thought they'd stopped the town centre parking now but it's quite a few years since we were there.0
