We are heading into Brittany today in search of a castle.

Well. That is the plan so far. They remain fluid and can change at short notice 🤣🤣🤣

    Josselin.

A free aire for the next 48 hours.

Really pretty place. Not recommended to get lost in the town centre pedestrianised area in a motorhome though. Still we got out unscathed and unharmed.

Gave the locals a laugh 🤣🤣🤣

We probably flew over you this afternoon on our way back from Greece. We had a great view of France. Brilliant photos and glad you’re having a good trip.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • Another day in Josselin today.

We made the most of the cooler early morning temperatures to have a good walk with Syd this morning and collect some warm fresh croissants for breakfast on the way back.

We are now back at the van shading from the worst of the heat. Has given us chance to have a bit of a clean up and tidy round of the van.

We will be back into town later for a couple of drinks before coming back and getting the Cadac out again. Too hot to cook in the van at the minute.

Supposed to be 34 degrees here today but it's already 33 so expect it will be hotter than forecast!

  • It looks fantastic RS - so glad you're having a wonderful time!

The comment earlier in the diary about someone wishing we were getting those temperatures here this week did make me chuckle though - be careful what you wish for?!

It has been far too hot for the dog this
week. A shame really as we have not seen as much as we would have liked too at all.

Tomorrow will be our last day with our friends and then we are heading back north so we have got nowhere near as far as planned but it has been an experience and we have learned so much.
  • Great photos and I love the French Chateau. The weather is pretty hot here too. Very uncomfortable for the dog particularly. Did he jump in the river or is it not safe for him to swim?

Once it has had cooled off enough yesterday chef made a really nice alfresco meal before we went for a walk around town.

Time to move on today. We need a service stop and a good walk before we go though.

He has been for a swim to cool off. He loved it. Probably not the cleanest water but it doesn't appear to have done him any harm!
