Last few days at work. We can do this!

Breakfast, lunch and diner are from stores. Breakfast was toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is spicy chicken with rice and stir fried vegetables. Need to use up the pok choi and chard from the garden this week.

    Tonight's jobs are:
    • walking the dog
    • picking up the animal health certificate from the vets
    • picking up some euros from the supermarket
    • starting to load up the van with some essentials

Another busy day at work today.

I have to pop back down to the vets this morning and get them to correct the Animal Health Certificate we picked up last night. It isn't stamped in all the required places. Good job we checked it, I nearly put it straight in the van last night. Not entirely happy about this to be honest. But at least we caught it before we got to Folkestone!

Breakfast, lunch and dinner tonight are from stores. Breakfast was toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is goat chops with noodles and stir fried vegetables. This should use up the last of the second crop of chard from the garden.

    Tonight's jobs are:
    • walking the dog
    • cleaning the kitchen
    • the other half is at the doctors after work for his annual check up
    • start clothes packing

Good job you checked the AHC.  I think that's awful with the prices they charge for completing those things.

Have a great holiday!  I'm jealous because we had to change the dates of our holiday due to hospital appointments and can't now go until November - we should have been going next Tuesday!

Very poor that they got the detail on the certificate wrong - as you say, good job you checked it, I bet a lot of folk wouldn't have done!

All sorted with the AHC now. Going to put it in the van tonight and chalk it off as a bad experience. We certainly won't use them again for the AHC. Now that we have the issue with his vaccination records sorted out we will use one of the click and collect services for the AHC next time. They are a lot cheaper (50% cheaper) and with the volume of them that they do they certainly should know what they are doing!!
