Unfortunately it is time to headphone today. We have really enjoyed our stay here. Its a lovely town and we will certainly be back again.
Breakfast today is toasted sandwiches with beef, chorizo and spicy cheese. Dinner later is lamb goulash and garlic bread made with leftovers from yesterday's roast dinner.
We are going to have a steady morning. No need to rush off. We expect the roads will be busy and we have nothing pressing to get home in a rush for.1 -
Morning. Time to headphone 🤣 I know what you mean though, pesky predictive text. Glad you enjoyed your stay.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

We didn't have a bad drive home in the end. Traffic was a lot lighter than we expected.
We filled up with diesel when we got back just so we have plenty for the MOT on Wednesday.
I will give the van a clean out after work tomorrow.
The dog has been in the bath and is now wrapped up in a blanket in bed. He is absolutely shattered.
The weather is a bit undecided here at home. One minute it's glorious sunshine the next really heavy rain and gusty winds.2 -
Not a no spends day today. I need to do the weekly shop after work.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. It was toast for breakfast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is game pie with chips and vegetables.
Tonight's jobs are:- walking the dog
- food shopping
- cleaning the van interior

For some reason the one night a week I don't sleep so well is Monday night, no idea why. I sleep like a log the rest of the week. We used to live on a main road many years ago and when we first moved to the house we're in now I struggled to sleep because it was too quiet, I was used to hearing traffic all through the night.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

It will be a spendy day today. We have dropped the van off at the garage this morning. We spoke to the chap last night and he says it will be a push to get everything done in the one day but they are going to aim to do that. They only have a small shop and it takes up most of it so they want it there as little time as possible really. If not the spendiness will just transfer to tomorrow instead!
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was porridge, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is mixed fish thai curry with noodles and spring rolls.
Tonight's jobs are:- walking the dog
- cleaning the kitchen

Loving the photo of the dog with the cat sculpture. If I remember rightly there is a very similar one on the Thames path somewhere in London.

We are at the garage now. It is absolutely chucking it down so the other half has run in.
Guessing it isn't finished yet.
It fills his garage. Can see why he doesn't want it staying here!
So it is a no spends day after all. Number 4.2
