At least you know for sure now.

That was a very spacious pitch! Good to have discovered another nice place to go - not school holidays next time I expect 😆
Definitely not in the school holidays again 🤣🤣🤣

Think it's probably worth booking something for the van the weekend before Christmas sooner rather than later as suspect a quite a few people, particularly if retired, are likely to want to get away for a late break before the holidays.  Although I suppose you could always use a Brit Stop if you couldn't find a site.

Looks a nice campsite you were on this weekend and lovely to have somewhere nice to walk the dog.

We have had a quick look and there is a car park with dedicated motorhome parking that allows overnight stops by the castle so we will probably use that if we do take the van. Looks to have plenty of bays.

That's good.  Not many places near us where we can overnight free.  There seems to be far more in the North than the South.

It's pay day and a busy day on the finances front. £300 sent to Card 7. £200 to the savings account and £100 to the Premium Bonds account.

Not a no spends day. I have been and picked up my preordered copy of Top Gun Maverick this morning. That's Saturday night sorted out :)

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is chicken and mushroom pasta and garlic bread.

No jobs tonight other than walking the dog and feeding the trick or treaters.

  • Great progress on savings and debt.  I am sure that the site was busy last week given it was half term.  Crazy down here in Cornwall too.
