Fabulous photos - glad you’ve had a wonderful time up there, and hope the drive back isn’t too “bank holiday-ish”!

We have just stepped back through the door at home. It's been a long drive back.

That said we have had several stops. We stopped in Glasgow to pick up Scottish supplies and diesel, we stopped at some services when we ran out of screen wash, we stopped on the A66 for something to eat and we stopped again at Boroughbridge to fill up the LPG bottles. So not all day driving.

It's been a spendy day all in though.

Got a load of washing straight into the machine. Having a few beers now then after duck stir fry later it will be an early night. I think we will all have a good sleep tonight.

It was Cafe Sixty Six. Was dinnertime when we got there though so we had cheeseburgers which were absolutely delicious.
