Pay day for me today. Will do the savings transfer and premium bonds transfer in Tuesday when I get back to work. Putting £50 in each this month.

Other than putting fuel in the van I don't think it will be a spendy day. Breakfast is toast, lunch will be a quick snack from the fridge when we swap drivers mid way and dinner later is with family. Not sure what we will be having.

We have to take the van in for a minor warranty repair at 9am then when they are finished we will hit the road.

Just need to load up the fridge this morning and fill up the water tank and we are good to go.

@RelievedSheff - get the money into Premium Bonds today or tomorrow and then they will be in June draw.  If you leave it until Tuesday they won’t be in until July.  You can do it online easily, it’s how I always so it.

    Have a great trip.

We had a good but long day yesterday. The fridge was sorted by 10.30am. Then we stuck the van on the weighbridge and with full fuel, full water and a fully loaded van we were still 100kg under weight. So plenty of spare capacity.

The drive up here was a long one. Traffic wasn't great. But it was lovely to have a catch up with family last night. We chatted the night away with some liquid refreshment and an amazing homemade curry.

This morning we are taking the dog for a walk around one of the local lochs and then after breakfast we are heading to the coast somewhere.

Spag bol for dinner tonight I believe.

I don't think it will be a spendy day today.

JoeDenise with it being a BH weekend it would have been unlikely that money sent to PBs yesterday would have cleared through for the June draw I’m afraid - it usually takes a couple of days to reach the PB account in my experience, and longer if there is a weekend in the way!

RS glad to hear the travelling went well even if it was a bit trafficky! Enjoy your walking today!
