Just thought I would pop in and wish you all a merry Christmas while I am enjoying the last moments of peace before the chaos unfolds.
The other half and the dog are snoring away. 😀
Hope you all have a great day.2 -
Merry Christmas to you both and of course the dog!

Had to get up to put the turkey in the slow cooker.
It must have been a big bird judging by the size of one breast, it has filled the slow cooker. We will be eating it forever 🤣🤣🤣0 -
Merry Christmas RS. I'm sure that the dog will help out with the turkey 😊1

After coffee this morning we opened our gifts. The dog was very excited and wanted to open everything.

We all have some lovely gifts this year.
With the presents done it was time for breakfast. Full English breakfast this morning.
But then we needed to get out and walk off that breakfast so we headed to a local country park.

We are now back home. Dinner is prepared for later and we are now settled in watching films. Already watched The Money Pit, most of the way through Gremlins and its Home Alone 2 soon. We are having a few beers but taking it steady today.
It has been a no spends day. Nothing has been open to spend money on 🤣🤣🤣
Going to see if we can get a couple more no spends days in before we head to Norfolk mid week. We have enough food and drink in so we shouldn't need anything.3 -
That’s the good thing about Christmas Day, nowhere open to spend 😆 Looks like you had a good day and you’ve got Norfolk to look forward to. I love Norfolk it’s a great place.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2 -
Aiming for a no spends day today. We have loads of food and drink in so shouldn't need to buy anything.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Bacon sandwich for breakfast, meats, cheese and pickles for lunch and turkey, ham and leek bake with garlic bread for dinner.
Not got much planned for today. We will take the dog out for a good long walk. We have a friend popping round later to borrow our life jackets. He sold his boat just before we sold ours and let all his gear go with the boat. He has just bought another one 🤣🤣🤣

We love Norfolk as well. Have spent a lot of time there over the years. Hoping to be able to get there more often with the van.Sun_Addict said:That’s the good thing about Christmas Day, nowhere open to spend 😆 Looks like you had a good day and you’ve got Norfolk to look forward to. Looks like you had an amazing Christmas. Our dog was going mad for the wrapping had bought him a few dog toys he totally ignored for the wrapping ha
That looks a proper full English too - fried bread not had it in years. As kids we used to do what you do big proper breakfast in the morning and Christmas dinner at actual dinner time rather than next to !!!!!! all for breakfast and Christmas ‘dinner’ at late lunch time which the wife has always done and couldn’t stand the thought of not getting turkey later than 2pm.2 -
Meant to say your mate with the boat haha sort of thing I’d do that is fml. Don’t let him tempt you to buy another one stick with the van - cheaper and can go to more places.1
