@RelievedSheff Congratulations on the pay.
You have your head screwed on and a plan. Tbh you’re sorted and as someone else mentioned have an amazing lifestyle, see a lot of the country and just have a great attitude to life I think we all wish could be achieved.
@enthusiasticsaver Can’t say I’m overly worried re access to deals quite yet; iswyacf granted and there have been times deals have been more difficult to get. Rn the country is quite reliant on the wheels to keep turning, access to easy credit and rates at rock bottom. Interest rates will rise, I know that, you know that and everyone else knows that but the most likely model is to keep interest rates relatively low. The country is too leveraged - if rates were to rise to 5-6% it’d be a !!!!!! disaster both for individuals and our indebted country. We aren’t living in times where interest rates will rise rapidly or without a lot of forewarning. The last decade has shown this and there appears to be no real moves towards big changes even with inflation having risen (perhaps temporarily with covid factoring).
@warby68 Congratulations on reaching your goal.2 -

Finished work for the year and all packed away.
Dog walked, dinner prepared for later, the other half finished work early, so we are showered, changed and settled on the sofa watching Matilda with a couple of beers.
