We still have a couple of nights out. Not planning to get home until Sunday afternoon. Two weeks has absolutely flown by though. Doesn't seem like two minutes!

The Kelpies are a bit special. So glad we have stayed so we can see them lit up at night. We'll worth the £5 overnight parking fee.

We have to head south today and over the border. Scotland has been amazing.

Breakfast is a bacon sandwich this morning and we are getting a takeaway for dinner tonight while we are in a larger town. Thinking maybe pizza.

Its raining again so it will be a very quick dog walk this morning I think.

The kelpies look unreal especially lit up my son would be absolutely amazed. Mentioned to my wife I would quite like to do a Scottish road trip someday when I’m a bit better expected her to say no but she said she thinks it’d be nice and a departure away from the places we used to go which made me miserable.
You would all love it. There is so much to see and do. The Kelpies are epic at night. It seemed a very fitting last night north of the border.

Had to have a change of plans today. It has been the first time in two weeks we could not park where we wanted too. We were supposed to be at Berwick-upon-Tweed but have ended up at Tynemouth instead.

Its not a bad substitute though.

Was it too busy? I’m sure you’ll enjoy Tynemouth just as much.
