Happy birthday 🎂it will be sad to get rid of the boat but you will have many happy memories and the motor home to Make lots more2

Happy birthday. Enjoy your steak.
With regard to the motorhome personally I'd leave it until at least next year - we've been looking at changing our van for a smaller one but prices are ridiculously high this year - much higher than they were a couple of years ago! I suspect prices will drop somewhat once people are able to go abroad again and won't want the bother and cost of a motorhome as well as holidays abroad. It would also give you a bit more time to save some extra money so you don't need to borrow as much.

Same with the boat. Prices are silly high at the moment and we have been able to put the boat far sale for far more than we would have got for it last year when we were looking to sell it.joedenise said:Happy birthday. Enjoy your steak.

In a way this has offset any rises in price on the vans.3 -
If you are looking for a 2nd hand van it might be worth hanging on until autumn/winter as the price tends to drop at the end of the year. (No guarantees mind) That is assuming you dont want it for the summer.

Not quite a no spends day today as the other half needs to pick some ATF fluid up for the boat. Should be a low spends day though.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was toast, I think I will have an omelette for my lunch and dinner tonight is turkey and mushroom stroganoff with rice and vegetables.
Today's jobs include:- working from home
- cleaning the bathrooms
- walking the dog
On the plus side we do have an offer on the table for the boat as of last night but it isn't a straight forward one as they want a survey on it. It is still a good offer worth considering though but we have said we are going to let the other two interested parties look first.5 -
We are in no rush to get the van. We are going to wait for the right one to come along. We plan to keep it for a good while so we want to make sure that we find the best van that we can with the lowest mileage that we can. We are pretty certain that we will be adding a fair chunk of mileage too it so we want as low a starting point as we can!ladyholly said:If you are looking for a 2nd hand van it might be worth hanging on until autumn/winter as the price tends to drop at the end of the year. Definitely worth letting the others view it first, you might get a better offer or an unconditional offer. Won't hurt the potential purchaser to know they're not the only ones interested either. Fingers crossed ✌I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

Pricing it sensibly has certainly drummed up a fair amount of interest.Sun_Addict said:Definitely worth letting the others view it first, you might get a better offer or an unconditional offer. Won't hurt the potential purchaser to know they're not the only ones interested either. Fingers crossed ✌

@RelievedSheff see what offers you get from the others. Sounds like the boat market is booming though.2
