We we applied on 3rd Aug , soft search 13th , hard search 24th was told by MA ready to offer as valuation was desktop one , then on Tuesday 25th she contacted us to say they were doing a physical valuation on 27th . So waiting now to see what happens . We both had another soft search done on 30th . Hope we get an offer by end of week as times dragging on after moving MAs end of July as no progress0

No progress here either. Originally applied on 17th July, soft and hard search done on application, application resubmitted on 11th August due to broker not uploading docs on time. Valuation completed on 18th August, furlough return docs submitted on 20th, application went to underwriter on 27th and my latest payslip submitted today (after being requested on 27th), so back to being in a queue to be reviewed. Keeping everything crossed for a decision next week but who knows at this point!0

Very early days here. Applied 26th August, hard search showing on experian, broker said valuation instructioned, been initially looked at today and documents requested, all of which broker has already submitted. She's just going to upload August payslip as didn't have that on the 26th so joining the queue of waiting.....0

I have not been asked for further documents since valuation but still waiting... I thought the valuation my broker said was the last thing but maybe different for all but my hard and soft search where both done at the start on the 11th August.. good luck everyone keep us updated.. :-)0

I presume this was just them stating what they need to start the process as application only a week old. All the things they wanted had already been sent.cooky123 said:I have not been asked for further documents since valuation but still waiting... Valuation not been done yet0 -
I'm sure the hard credit check should have been made before your had your mortgage appointment. Then after appointment, application sent to underwriters. Then underwriter will make a decision pending a valuation. Then valuation is carried out etcSueF1 said:

That's the way I thought it worked. It does seem to be a whole lot quicker going direct, looking at the intermediaries timeline.0 -
Mine was via a broker.Peter74 said:

AIP confirmed 26th, application went in straight away, hard and soft searches done straight away. Valuation then instructed but not booked yet. Broker said application checked yesterday confirming what docs the needed (they had already been uploaded anyway) so now waiting for the next step, presumably going to underwriters.0 -
Applied 22nd July, requested a couple of extra docs and then valuation booked in for 17th of August, was told by broker that everything looks really positive and should hear back by the end of that week (how naive of us). More documents were requested late on the 20th, sent back 21st AM and still yet to hear anything 😩 going crazy!0
