    * all meals from stores - get something out of the freezer for tea

I'm supposed to be going to a friends this evening. It's her birthday soon. Not sure what the details are and if it's even happening....

    Morning folks!

@ditty1234 - I'm glad to hear that your mum is doing well :)
@Baileys_Babe - thank goodness it's not just me!

Like @determined_new_ms I'm also off work today. I feel like there's a lot to do, although a lot of it exists in my head. The main tasks for today are to:
:star: Sew some more masks for OH as he goes back to work on Monday. Probably just need 2 more. I'm trying a different pattern though. The ones I made previously are the pleated type. I'm trying the "Mortal Kombat" type now to see if it's a better/more comfortable fit. - not today although I've printed out the pattern and looked for the fabrid
:star: Reconcile budget sheet while peeping through my fingers as several large transactions have been made - done
:star: Pick up shopping - done
:star: Strip  - done and remake bed
:star: Make a packed lunch for tomorrow :flushed:
Oh blimmin 'eck. Feel like a right rum idiot. Had a bit of a work-related "moment" and had a panic attack at the gym. Everyone very sweet but I feel like a right tit.
 Chopped another bin-full of the overgrown trees down. Arms very tired now. Good for getting rid of the extra adrenaline.

    Have a good one all

Ziggy, you don't bring us down. Sounds like a nightmare with your kitchen renovation, enough to get anyone down!
Ditty, wishing your Mum a speedy recovery
Spent a chunk of the morning going to the surgery for a blood test. A bit of a palaver. Anyway, all done now. Hopefully they will find no change from last time (it won't ever be 'normal' again, but then that would be boring, wouldn't it :D)   Other than that I have:
    Dog walk first thing
    HG raspberries for breakfast fruit
Sorted out my meagre crop of shallots, which had been drying on a tray in the woodshed for ages
    Sorted out the fridge
Made a big pan of chicken and veg curry (using up various oddments from fridge), some for tonight, some for the freezer
Cooked up some gifted plums and a few blueberries from the garden, will pop a crumble mix on top :)
Prepped, blanched and froze a washing up bowl full of French beans. Watered a couple of pots in the front garden using the water with which I had cooled the beans.
Whizzed a leftover, slightly stale bread roll in the processor, and froze resulting breadcrumbs
OH has picked yet more raspberries and cherry tomatoes
Washed out some good quality freezer bags that had only been used for fruit or veg, and hung them to dry. Also hung out a dog poo bag (unused of course, but it had been through the washing machine in my jeans pocket). OH's face said it all :D
Just heading out to the garden to repot a blueberry bush, see if anything else needs watering, and do some tidying :)
Might make a start on the housework, which I have pencilled in for tomorrow.
