When that happens, do you get a reason given? Is it permanent?onlyfoolsandparking said:

My experience is that led to no action. Direct contact with the relevant part of the local council and it was gone within weeks.
But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

I don't know how it works, whether it's permanent etc. It was a bit of a novelty I guess at first but definitely got tiresome towards the end and once it became too distracting It was good it went and the best move by admin. Probably need to keep an eye out for 'new posters' in this section although any public forum runs the risk of being invaded I've seen it happen a few times, hey ho.Grumpy_chap said:

And conversely my experience is the opposite.theoretica said:Conrad3000 said:Thanks for the responses, guys. And the car was reported via the .gov website for untaxed vehicles.

Can't remember the exact time scale but the vehicle was stickered and clamped by the DVLA and some time later removed on a low loader.
I suppose it may depend on area and how busy they are and in the current climate probably not a priority.0 -
Often they do purges in areas I've found, so there will be a number of vehicles clamped in one day and publicised on social media.RichardD1970 said:

Whereabouts is the car? On the street , carpark? where?Conrad3000 said:Hello folks. Should it take more than week since it was reported because the car's still there.
And same goes for non-MOT and non-insured cars too.
Thanks.0 -
It's on the street. And incidentally, there's another one with no insurance 😩Homer_home said:

Does that have to be reported directly to the Police?0 -
Yes, as it is a Criminal offence.Conrad3000 said:
