I take it that should be DS and not DH?
(Sorry, it made me chuckle thinking of your DH having to remove some of his old stuff when parents arrive).😆
If it's not adding up, compound it!

Lol. Yes, should have been DS. Although DH really should get rid of his stuff as he has way more than me... Keeps telling me he is a minimalist though!

I decided to put one item on eBay earlier as I knew it would be a buy it now rather than an auction.  Sold 2 hours later and in the post to them.  Already got offers on 5 other items so they will go at the weekend.  Seems busy on eBay for clothes right now!  Just wish I didn't have to remove all my listings after the weekend for a break until after baby!

Fingers crossed I sell as much as possible this week and I can pick up the rest later.  Up £5 net after fees already - should be able to earn enough for any clothes I need this year (which shouldn't be much at all!).  I am already watching some second hand items I like so I can revisit them later to check I do actually still like them before I buy anything...  Seems to work well as I deleted most of them already!

Congratulations! Thanks for taking the time to post when you must have so many other things to think of, I was wondering how you were doing.

So sorry to hear you've had to go back in, but great news everything is ok and you should be able to get home tomorrow. Take care and look after yourself.

We finally escaped from the hospital and fingers crossed it is all upwards from here. In the meantime I am enjoying being waited on hand and foot by DH 😄 Eating very well at the moment thanks too all my freezer stocks and not been good shopping for 2 weeks.

Mainly existing day to day right now, but as it's a new month, I thought I'd set a few goals:
    1. Joint account deficit - currently at -£2,100. Would love to get it below £1.5k, but I think that's going to be impossible, so will settle for £1.75k.
    2. Personal account deficit - currently at -£50. Had some unexpected expenses to deal with and currently no budget for personal stuff (only until mortgage gets renegotiated in Sep). Hoping to get this below £40 using round ups and cashback etc. Want to clear the deficit and then will start using budget spare and survey income to save a new phone fund. Still user mine until it dies, but it is 3.5 years old already, so want money there for when I need it.
    3. Add one item a day minimum to eBay. Set myself the task of sorting out my wardrobe this year. I have loads of things to get rid of and will need to purchase the odd thing here or there (second hand where possible), which I will only do from funds raised from selling. Net nil monetary impact. Quite excited to finally sort out the wardrobe and very unusually spend some money on myself! Found a couple of more expensive things which I've added to my gift list... Usually I get to Xmas/birthday and I can't think of anything I want people to buy me (we ask each other in this family so we get things we want). I've started my list early this year!

I am continuing looking into better (more ethical) alternatives when I use things up in the house. It does seem silly that companies make it hard to research this stuff, although the ethical consumer website is definitely my friend and does the heavy lifting. This month's swap is a (successful) trial of toilet paper. Never realised the bog standard supermarket one used mainly virgin wood.
