BT Full fibre compensation question

I agreed to a full fibre connection with BT a few weeks ago and many things went wrong; the Openreach guy drilled into a mains cable and left us with a ring main out of action also a PC & TV not working as neither use wi-fi. It wasn’t possible to speak to anyone from Openreach at any point although I have emailed a claim for the electrician’s bill and redecorating costs.
I raised a complaint about the poor experience with BT which they were very slow to respond to however we are now in touch and they are asking me to say how much we want by way of compensation.
I have no clue what would be reasonable and would be grateful if any MSE forum members might have experience they’d be willing to share?
ThanksComments

OP, its not good etiquette to create multiple threads about the same issue. I suggest you delete the thread below, in order to avoid confusing posters:

I'm not sure what you mean with this comment. I accidentally posted under phones, wasn't sure how to delete and so had that post closed by the forum team very quickly. There's certainly no lack of etiquette or consideration just a simple mistake which I rectified asap? One post here - so please explain what you mean by multiple posts?

I have followed those instructions however my only option when I click on the cog is 'edit.' Please advise if you don't mind.

FAQ's say 'If your post was the first post of a forum thread you won't be able to delete it'.

Internal wiring such as LAN cables to non-WiFi devices is the responsibility of the homeowner, so no compo for that.
They should pay all your receipts, that's a given and personally I would be asking for 2 months for free.
