Selling a victorian terrace house, should I try to sell it myself (e.g. purplebricks)?

  • Many Years ago, I learnt a lot from my friend who did a lot in my home . If I remember correctly, he filled holes with cement or polyfilla and used an orbital sander . A bit of a messy job, where you would definitely need goggles due to the amount of dust when sanding. After that , just paint over it .
Not sure if this would help, but a thought ..

I saw your post in the DIY section, as you are selling just go with Polly filla, take your time doing it, sand any painted bits so it sticks, build up layers and then paint over it.

As for the house, yup definitely a statement / personal taste you've got going on. Get a few tubs of trade white, carefully paint the walls, a bad paint job will put some people off so no rushing.

Remember, you are doing this to sell, not so you can live in it!
