Probably in the minority. Plasma tv’s had even more horror stories about burn in yet my Pioneer Kuro Plasma has been fine.

We have a Hisense 4K LED TV.  We watched Blue Planet II on it in 4K, it was absolutely fantastic, and it is not an expensive TV.   Oh, and it is only a 43 inch one.

Plenty of content on Netflix and Amazon Prime if you subscribe to such services.

Ah, no good to me then, says i need a 25mbit connection, and i'm on 5mbit.

I'll just watch FULL HD 1080p, and not sit 3 miles away from the telly

Excellent. I've just watched a 4K stream on utube. It looked really good on my 1080p Monitor. In fact, it looked even better than the 1080p stream.

Thank you for the advice, I went for an LG in the end and I love it. A vast improvement on my previous telly. I absolutely love how clear the colors are.
