  • Had our offer this afternoon, absolutely chuffed to bits. Can't believe it's all gone through so quickly, especially given as I have some adverse through 2017 and 2018 (1 default, quite a few missed payments)

    28/08 - DIP Received
29/08 - New build property viewed
30/08 - £500 Reservation paid on new build
    02/09 - HTB Application submitted
07/09 - Mortgage application submitted and survey fee paid
    10/09 - HTB ATP Received

To receive it that afternoon that’s crazy! I had my valuation done on last Thursday and still waiting.

Did you have a desktop valuation? I had one and my offer was issued the same day.
  • Mine was a physical valuation survey but I still got the offer same day. It’s a new build though so assume there’s less for them to consider in terms of valuation

  • Just received it in post Woooo!
  • Happy days :)

The stories you read on here made it so nerve wracking yet it was pretty easy straightforward case but still I was crapping it.

Didn’t have to do anything not any extra documents.
  • My husband and I are have just recieved our AIP from Halifax (via a MB), and are planning to pursue an application with them, using the H2B scheme (LTV 75%) when we reserve a plot in November. We're both full-time NHS employees in stable jobs, have no history of credit card usage or debt (except for student loans) and earn a joint income of £45000 p.a. What sort of documentation are Halifax likely to request from us, as I've read they dont require bank statements?
