Any recent Halifax applicants?

Application was submitted on the 4th. Had two hard checks then and then a soft check on the 5th.

The two hard check were carried out by bank of Scotland and the soft check (Affordability) by Lloyd’s banking group with the name halifax 2.3. Anyone know what’s going on there?

Exactly the same for me @shakAFC - Application submitted yesterday, I'm showing 2 hard searches from Bank of Scotland, and 1 soft search from Lloyds. Have you heard anything since?

Hi I was told yesterday my valuation is booked for Friday. It’s a desktop valuation not sure if that’s a good or bad thing. 

I also had a call from Halifax yesterday confirming a few details, which was a bit strange as I went through a broker. My broker also found that a bit strange. Fingers crossed it goes well.

I’m through a broker too. The broker called me today and said Halifax had asked for scanned copies of Passport for both my wife and myself which I’ve done today so just waiting to hear back from that.

Looks like your slightly ahead of me then. How long from credit searches to valuation being booked in?

Application went in on Friday, hard search happened the same day. I had a soft search and Saturday. On Monday I was told valuation was booked for Friday. 

Fingers crossed everything goes smoothly!

Full application submitted Monday 7th, request for scanned copies of Passports
on Tuesday 8th.

Heard this afternoon that valuation has been booked in for Wednesday 16th

I was hoping you was going to say you’ve had an offer when I seen a new post! Not seeing much action on the Halifax threads lol. My valuation (desktop) is tomorrow!

Halifax as well as Bank of Scotland are owned by Lloyd’s Banking Group so nothing to worry about I had same currently had my valuation done today so waiting to hear back either tomorrow or next week.

Have any of you heard anything yet?
My application was done at a similar time, the first valuation appointment I could get is 25/09. I was wondering if Halifax give an ‘offer pending valuation’

We’re going through Halifax at the mo, via our mortgage advisor. We paid for the mortgage valuation on the 31/8, haven’t heard anything back yet.

We’re FTBs, so not too sure about the process - should we expect to hear from our MA once the mortgage valuation has been completed?
