Morning DNMS thanks for starting yesterday. I have had a slippy month and am now on a boot strap budget, but unfortunately have to travel this weekend for a family event so there are unavoidable expenses like a suitable gift, bus tickets, parking and possibly flowers! But then that's the end of it, everybody has had a dig around closets for clothes, the young one claimed an other hair cut, but that's it. And I keep going like that.
I have tried so hard to keep on a budget, and August and September are traditionally challenging, just threw £150 after a bus pass for same young one,
Today is work, breakfast and lunch is a pot of cottage cheese - making up for sitting still all day.
Later one of the young ones will cook a chili of F&C from freezer, and exercise will be a free run, when I get home braving the storm.
Have a good day all.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Morning
I really didn't do very much of my list yesterday
All the f&v still needs processing!
It's payday today so I did all my transfers and got all my accounts up to date
always feels good!
Things to do
* chop and freeze beans, cook apples and freeze in crumble sized portions - actually stewed them by mistake so have frozen them in ice cubes and will put them in a freezer bag to have with overnight oats
also peeled and diced apple (for a cauliflower and apple soup) and froze, finally peel and sliced some apples and froze for a pie at some point. Phew! I've seen a recipe for marrow and ginger jam which I'll do tomorrow and then think I'm up to date!
* TOMM - done
* hopefully if weather cheers up we can go for a walk/bike ride - didn't
* stick to diet! Didn't do!
* cut pul and sew 3 pads - done
* lunch will be a use up again! - done
* tidy/wipe down fridge - not done!
* try to look for dog crate. I've listed it but when I went to find it I couldn't....
That's all! Will play games with madam now I've done my chores
For dinner I made a sliced marrow, BNS and potato bake, with a tomato sauce with onions and garlic and white sauce, mozerella and breadcumbs. So good! Now need to peel & slice the BNS and freeze. A lot of this on my list of things to do at the moment!DF as at 30/12/16

Morning folks
I had a bit of a burst of energy last night and managed to sort all my jelly cooking bits, cut the grass and mostly finished crocheting the glove. Bit groggy today but mostly good. Poor OH was shattered last night and went up at 8.30!
Today's list:
B/L/D from stores - done
Check PMP - done
Finish glove by sewing in ends and crocheting thumb - sewn in ends, just the thumb left
Give myself a bit of a spruce up. Need to shower and epliate - not done. Shower in morning. Legs to stay hairy.
Prep all bits for early start in the morning d/t 6am gym session. Might drive tomorrow as weather generally appalling - done
Research dehydrators - done
OH to do the housework - done-ish
Make the jelly - done
Have a good one all

Evening all
Not a very useful day, as the house is a tip and the weather is awful! But I have:Early morning dog walk - a bit later this morning as I had to wait for the rain to stop.Roasted a pound or thereabouts of tomatoes for sauce for tonight's dinnerMade second batch of raspberry jam
Made enchilladas for dinner from a couple of big spoonfuls of bolognese, some kidney beans, some chilli jam and some herbs, with tortilla wrap things rolled round it, tomato sauce poured over and grated cheese on top. Had this with salad and HM coleslaw
And there is enough left for lunch tomorrow. And that is it, apart from reams of washing up. DD bought little GS round this afternoon, and he still insists on my undivided attention, preferably clinging on to me to make sure
He talks now, and most of it can be more or less understood. Very cute
But puts a stop to getting anything done
I have a dehydrator CLF, a cheap one that I bought years ago from a website called QVC. It certainly isn't an all singing and dancing one, just has a simple on/off control and stacking slatted trays. It does work, though it doesn't do anything fancy. Having said that, I hardly ever use it, and it takes up a lot of space in my kitchen cupboard

- Started to investigate some meal prep ideas as my Pinterest board is overflowing.

- Sorted out the store cupboard to stop forgetting what we have to use up. Going by the number of packets of risotto rice i’ll be making a lot of risottos.

Morning
another day of summer off
Madam is asking to go to the beach today so that will be a cheap day out
Madam is now going to bbf's for a play date
Read the newsletter this morning. I need to get a new phone deal so that was a timely reminder!
This morning I have booked a slot at the tip so need to fill my car up, will pop to the allotment and take some of the debris. While I'm in town I'll pick up milk and coffee from Lidl I find the new system much more civil!
I will also do:
TOMM - hallway today. Also need to do madam's room as I didn't get round to it yesterday
Chop and freeze runner beans
pick up ingredients for marrow jam
make said jam
stick to diet
might make a fritatta - lots of veg to use up!
sew 3 pads, edge stitch and add poppers and all of my paid pads will be complete! Just 3 left for tomorrow
Ok that will do

I could take it off your hands and free up some cupboard space?DawnW said:I have a dehydrator CLF, a cheap one that I bought years ago from a website called QVC. I don't live close to Dawn but I'd be more than happy to pay for p&p - I think it would only be a fiver or so via (urgh) Hermes. (I hate to give Hermes my money but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do)determined_new_ms said:
