    Thank you,
Do I just need to wait for the SAR now and see if OPS take court action?
Other than making the enquiries, complaints, and research as already advised, yes.

Yes , but follow up the college complaint and don't forget about the LBC to that manager including the fact about being jointly and severally liable as well , give them the same grief that you are getting , but also bear in mind you ideally require a witness statement from them to say that your vehicle was authorised to be there !! , both before , during and after these PCN,s were issued and the VRM should have been on a whitelist. Ideally you want this from the landowner and/or the college. Get your ducks in a row !!!
  • Thank you , I will do that.
I also have the staff rep on board with this now due to being ignored for 4 months and he is suggesting that I push it to the senior management team so that they are aware of what is going on.

Myself and ParkingMad are local and we've helped 2 or 3 people beat OPS in court cases about Chichester College.  Including the thread by @retropeck that went to a full hearing and the thread includes a Court Report from me. I'm happy to assist you too.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP., it can cause the scammer extra costs and work, and in some cases, cancellation.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, and an independent appeals service will be set up,

Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

    http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2019/8/contents/of these Private Parking Companies.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.

You never know how far you can go until you go too far.
  • Hi all,
I have requested from my HR department the name of the parking company on the contract ( Ethical parking or One Parking Solutions) but it looks like they dont want to answer me either.
I have been forwarded an old copy of the contract from an ex employee which is between the College and Ethical Parking, this is who the college parking Q&A/ information keeps saying is the contractor.
The contract clearly states that the parking company are responsible for the signs and planning, however I cannot find any evidence of planning/advertising rights for any car park signage and I am still waiting for the council to get back to me.
If the signs do not have any planning permission or advertising rights, does this mean that the signs are not legally binding?
The contract also has the site contact name on of the Estates and Facilities manager that doesnt want to deal with my complaint and he has also signed it on behalf of the College.
I am not sure if the contract has been changed since, and if it has ,what changes have been made seeing as the rest of the parking information hasnt been changed to One Parking Solutions.
Has anyone got a copy of the contract that would have been valid July 2019?
    Thanks

A SAR is a legal requirement and if they do not respond you complain to the ICO

I do not know anything about Chichester College but would a FOI (Local Authority?) be more appropriate than a SAR?
