Or until they try a court claim within 6 years

    Never say never

Given they don't litigate and the NTK is POFA complaint, is there an actual need to send a POPLA appeal? Or at the very least, is there a need to submit a very carefully worded POPLA appeal?

Ask yourself what your reply to a judge would be if they asked why no popla appeal was tried meaning they are being made to referee it. The aim is to avoid court and all reasonable steps should have been tried , court is a last resort

A carefully worded Popla appeal is a must do in every case going to Popla

A rambling poorly worded Popla appeal makes no sense at all

Just because they may not try court at this moment in time does not mean they won't try it in the future. They are all storing up tend of thousands of invoices and recently quite a few newbies are chancing their arms in court. Never say never
Understood, thank you again for your time and quick response.

In 2012 ParkingEye sued no-one that we know of.  In 2013 they sued 30,000 people.

The lesson is, you don't assume!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Another couple of quick questions.
    1. Should I use this thread to post the POPLA appeal wording? (the thread had a different purpose but I didn't want to create a 2nd one if it's expected to be under the same one. However, might be more useful with 2nd thread which has POPLA appeal and the PPC name in the title).
    2. If the keeper of the vehicle cannot see any strong grounds to make their POPLA appeal on, is using the Signage appeal template in the Newbie thread a reasonable template to start from? The template is from Coupon-Mad but it was written back in September 2016. I've done a search for other POPLA appeal's for the same PPC but nothing massively jumps out as a better template.
    Thoughts?

    1) yes , you may as well

    2) yes , use no landowner authority (regardless, so they have to prove it to popla) , plus signage (regardless) , plus anything else that is relevant , like POFA , the BPA CoP , the CRA 2015 etc

    Keep to the one thread.

Change the thread title, by editing your opening post, if you wish.

Just another quick thought. If the parking sign says 90 minutes parking, no return within 1 hour. For arguments sake, let's say the stay was 125 minutes. If MET have photos of the vehicle entering and the vehicle leaving, could a person claim that these were two separate visits separated by an hour? Claiming that the photos they have are the vehicle entering on the first visit and exiting on the second visit? Would MET be able to prove this wasn't the case?

they could check all their images between the times mentioned, something we tell people to insist on when there have been 2 visits meaning 4 pictures were taken for a double dip case

if they only find 2 pictures, one in and one out , that would be their evidence
