Shock, horror, FTSE below 6000 and end of Trading Today

Retired 1st July 2021.
This is not investment advice.
Your money may go "down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... I got all tricked up and came up to this thing, lookin' so fire hot, a twenty out of ten..."0 -
FTSE EUROTOP 300 Index is still down 15% on it's 52 week high. Malaise isn't just restricted to the UK.quirkydeptless said:Shock, horror, FTSE below 6000 and end of Trading Today

The majority of my FTSE 100 companies (held through funds) are positive for the year, with a couple flat and a couple down. The FTSE 100 is pretty bad as an index but there are some resilient companies in there.quirkydeptless said:Shock, horror, FTSE below 6000 and end of Trading Today

Tomorrow if it's up by 0.02 points I'll be celebrating with lots of smileys and people will think I've lost the plot too.quirkydeptless said:Shock, horror, FTSE below 6000 and end of Trading Today

It's the cat I'm still most worried about.0 -
My mum told me that the cat went to live a happy life on a farm but I am beginning to suspect she may not have been telling the truth. Still not sure what any of it has to do with long term investing though.Sailtheworld said:First day of Autumn tomorrow. Maybe the OP has a fully functioning crystal ball?
