The Post Office do a credit check but they offer a contract for people with bad credit. It's £20 a month, as opposed to £18, but it stays as £20 after the first year (the other one jumps to about £35)

I have just moved so it was my previous address, And I had been there for just over 12 months, I'm not sure it was a proper check because I had to pick my address it was a shared house so didn't have any information about me.
