Yes of course it can. Get it back on. It’s sold twice it will sell again.onlyliveonce said:Hi folks.
Can a house go back on the market after 2 failed sales?
Just found out this morning the buyers are sub prime applicants after 6 or 7 weeks of being told it is the banks that are holding things up and there broker is saying it doesnt look good.
Back when we took there offer 10 weeks ago the solicitor acting for them said; there broker has a mortgage DIP, is confident he can place a full mortgage, have nothing to sell and has a deposit ready, this implies they are good candidates. Someone is stringing soneone along.
What is the thoughts on re-marketing for a 3rd time? Is it classed as dead-wood.
Thanks.1 -

So we put our house back on the market.
Had interest again.
But today we got 2 offers. One from a young couple they only have 5% deposit and have to use the Scottish first home fund which could take sometime.
Other offer came from an agent working for a cash buyer from hong kong. My pessimistic side has its worries. What should i look out for with offers from foreign people. According to the buyers agent they are planning to move over here. My agent called there solicitor and verified them and are telling me to accept the offer.0 -
There are quite a few people moving out of Hong Kong at the moment, so they could be an answer to your problem. It would also make sense that they would be cash buyers, so if the agent has verified with their solicitor it would (at least on the surface) appear that they are able to act in a reasonable timescale.onlyliveonce said:So we put our house back on the market.

Go with the buyers from Hong Kong.0

A cash buyer could complete as soon as they receive the contract, they could also want 101 searches, surveys and any other bit of paper possible. How long is a piece of string!onlyliveonce said:Heres hoping.

Aftet accepting the offer last wednesday and suggesting a completion day our solicitor is yet to come back to us.
Would it be to soon to ask for an update.
Thanks again folks.0 -
My husband sold his house to a cash buyer from China. There was no problem at all until completion day when the money man in Shanghai went AWOL. He completed the following day and got a few pounds of interest but it would have been inconvenient had he still been living in the house. As it was, he'd already moved in with me so it was empty."If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0
