DCBL letter of claim

Hello everyone. Here is a letter i received from DCBL recently regarding a fine I got last year at a hospital for parking on double yellows. FYI DCBL have taken me to county court in January one behalf of OPS and made me pay £437 for 2 overstay 'fines' so I don't want to fold so easily this time. To fill you in I was on placement in the hospital and the car park was always oversubscribed, so to avoid being late I parked my car clumsily (I don't do that anymore). Unfortunately, my past has come back to haunt me.

I have read the newbies thread. So far I have I have sent them a SAR (and I know that OPS also have another fine that they are waiting to threaten me with). I will contact PALS tomorrow. So my next step as I understand it is to email DCBL with the following:

(a) I am seeking debt advice but I deny any debt and the case must be put 'on hold' for not less than 30 days under the PAP for debt claims 2017.
(b) I have sent your client a SAR and have insufficient information, to date.
(c) also confirm your correct 'address for service' (especially if you've moved and they've traced you & might revert back to an old address).

Do I need to mention the extra £60 which they have unlawfully added?
If I go down this route is there any chance that DCBL or OPS will not pursue court action or will fighting this mean I have to defend myself in county court?

Thanks everyone!

yes you can add the bit about the additional £60 that was added on, the abuse of process charge you read about

DCBL will do what their client OPS tell them to do, its not their choice, its the claimants choice, as claimant

yes this will likely mean you fight them in county court

Pals is for patients, you need to talk to HR if you were on placement there

lastly, these are and were invoices, not fines

OPS cannot fine anyone in this country

Looks like the Polyclinic, am I right?  Signs there are shocking.

I really wish you hadn't paid the other two, flipping heck you are localish to me (I'm in West Sussex, not far)!

Get a SAR from OPS and reply and tell DCBL to put the case on hold for 30 days.

..... because you are seeking debt advice.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP., it can cause the scammer extra costs, and in some cases, cancellation.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up later this year,

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these companies, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

    nn street
    city etc
I require you to ERASE my old data
Change as indicated above, you have copied the instructions not the sense of them.

Do I need another SAR? I already got one from them last time. Also I felt like I had no choice but to pay the county court claim last time because I was running out of time and didn't know who to turn to. Citizens advice tried to help but it ended wasting my time waiting weeks for appointments. Since last time I learned that getting support on a forum is the best way forward so progress has been made.

if you have already sent a SAR and received a reply, it should have included ALL of your data, in which case NO you dont send another one, because they should have given you everything already, on everything, including every pcn etc
