Samsung Pay Card launched in UK

Partner with Curve, lets you add existing cards, 1% cashback for 90 days (on top of what your existing card may offer).  Samsung phones (and watches) only.

    Though surely you could just add your curve card to Samsung Pay?

    Ah I see I have a metal curve card so get cashback on my selected retailers anyway.

    The 1% cashback is restricted to a limited number of retailers, see below from website.
    6. Choose 1% cashback from 3 merchants selected from a wider range of brands. Introductory offer for 90 days.

    Are you able to add Amex cards to the Samsung Pay card? Or Curve for that matter? 

    I recall you used to be able to, but then they pulled it.

    No Amex put a stop to it. Can’t see them finding a way round that so long as Amex don’t  want to allow it.

    There's an Amex logo on that link I provided, which implies that they are supported?
    Perhaps because Samsung pay is similar to Apple Pay which has its own digital wallet that lets you add your Amex card and is separate to the Samsung Pay Card.
