Yes I clicked on an ad somewhere online and got a email than a phonecall. Aviva Investors Fixed Interest High Yield Bond is what they call it . They initially quote about 3.5 % in fixed for 3 years . Then called me on phone . I said that was quite low and he offered me the same rate for a  1 year fixed term bond that I could cash in anytime after first 3 months with 30 days notice.  I guess its some kind of scam ?

That's not per your post title 'fixed term savings'.

I guess any scammer could get someone phone number and email address no ?
Well they have yours. You may now be on a 'suckers list' so be prepared to put the phone down and ignore any more 'offers' you receive via email. And don't click google or facebook ads offering unrealistic rates of return

One clue to the scam is the phone number in that email, which does not match theirs or infact the email contact address itself which is not correct.

Yes . I noticed that . It could be that they have several phone numbers and email addresses no ?

3.5% is already a 'too good to be true' rate in today's proper savings market.
Thank you for allowing us the time to open the channels of communication today, it was a pleasure speaking with you, and we are excited about the possibility of working with you soon.
The real Aviva would not be excited about the possibility of working with you unless you have vast wealth.
Aviva Investors believes that wealth management is one of the most attractive segments in banking, this is why we are the very best.
The real Aviva would not claim to be "the very best".
Please find attached our Aviva Investors Fixed Interest High Yield Bond prospectus.
This instrument does exist (so the attachment may be genuine) but is not available direct for retail customers and has risks - not that it matters as the scammer will probably just steal your money.

Phone number and email address doesn't match real website.
The domain aviva-inv.com was only registered this month.
Even if you turn this down they may consider you engaged enough to be a good opportunity for a future scam so be hyper aware of any other offers you receive.
